I doubt it.

Thorne looks like a vilain because he doesn’t have the whole perspective us viewers have. As far as Thorne (who didn’t go to Hardhome and has no idea firsthand that the White Walkers are THAT BIG OF A THREAT) is concerned, Jon Snow was threatening the realm with his recruiting of the Wildlings.

The Watch was set up to defend against the White Walkers, but that’s been lost in the 8 thousand of years since it was instituted. The Watch came to forget that part and somehow got into defending the realm from Wildlings, almost completely forgetting about their real mission.

Anyway, I’m done geeking out
